This Privacy Policy explains how myRide+ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, apps, Creator Mode, Web Builder, and related services (the “Service”).

myRide+ is an entertainment and community platform built around the Havilland Storyline. The information we handle relates to accounts, storytelling content, community participation, and creator publishing tools.

Information you provide

• Account details — email address, password (stored hashed), display name, and optional phone number where you choose to add one.
• Profile data — avatar, bio, profession, selected path (myRide+ / Creator), and other profile fields you edit.
• Creator & CMS content — character pages, book drafts, media uploads, Web Builder revisions, access requests, and related publishing metadata.
• Community activity — posts, comments, audition submissions, messages, event interest, and other content you share in community features.
• Commerce details — book order information and fulfillment details needed to process purchases. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor, not stored as full card numbers on myRide+ servers.
• Support messages — information you send through Contact or email when you ask for help.

• Operate the Service — authenticate you, show content, sync Creator Mode, publish Web Builder pages, and deliver community features.
• Personalize experiences — suggest relevant character families, remember preferences, and show your watchlist or creator workspace.
• Communicate — send account, security, access-request, and important product notices. Marketing messages are optional where required by law.
• Safety & integrity — prevent fraud, enforce Community Guidelines, review Web Builder access requests, and protect users and content.
• Improve the product — understand which features work, fix bugs, and plan new storytelling and creator tools.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run myRide+:

• Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, media storage/CDN, authentication infrastructure, and payment processing.
• Public content — profile fields and published characters, books, community posts, or Web Builder pages you choose to make public.
• Legal requirements — when we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, protect rights, or investigate abuse.
• Business transfers — if myRide+ is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer under appropriate safeguards.

We use cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions, security, and remembering UI preferences. See the Cookie Policy for categories and choices.

We keep account and content data while your account is active. After deletion or prolonged inactivity, we may retain limited records for backups, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations for a reasonable period, then delete or anonymize them where practicable.

• Access & update — edit profile and account settings in the product.
• Delete — request account deletion through Contact; we will process verified requests subject to legal holds.
• Marketing — opt out of non-essential emails using unsubscribe links or by contacting us.
• Cookies — control browser cookies; some features may not work if essential cookies are blocked.

myRide+ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the Service, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and access controls for admin / Web Builder tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The Service may be hosted in or accessed from multiple countries. By using myRide+, you understand that your information may be processed in locations that may have different data-protection rules than your home country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the product or by email where appropriate.
